This bio toothbrush is biodegradable together with its packaging. The handle is made of GMO-free corn starch with soft, round nylon bristles that are BPA-free. Disposal instructions for organic toothbrushes:
- Break off toothbrush head and dispose of at your recycling center
- Put the rest of the toothbrush in your compost
- It usually takes about 1 year for it to decompose into a chalk-like stick in a home compost (90 days to decompose in a commercial compost).
- Remember to change your toothbrush every 6-8 weeks
